How Conversion agent works
The Conversion agent turns funnel and paywall data into specific, shippable changes to your store page, paywall, trial, and pricing. Here is how it reasons so you can trust - or challenge - what it recommends.
What it watches
- Product page funnel: impressions, product page views, and download conversion
- Paywall funnel: impressions, trial starts, and trial-to-paid
- Price localization across your top markets
- First-impression assets - icon, screenshots, and the first three seconds of any preview
How it reasons
Every metric is compared against two baselines: your own trailing history and the benchmark for your category and price band. A gap alone is not enough to fire. The agent gates each finding behind a statistical significance check, so a quiet week of traffic won't trigger a false alarm.
Impact is estimated as the conversion delta multiplied by the traffic exposed to it and your effective price. That is what produces the dollar figure on every recommendation, and it is why the same lever can rank differently for two apps.
Typical recommendations
- Reorder or rewrite screenshots to lead with the strongest proof
- Test a new paywall headline or value framing
- Adjust trial length where the trial-to-paid curve suggests it
- Localize price in a market where the benchmark sits well above yours
- Rewrite the subtitle to win the first impression in search
Shipping a change
On Growth and Studio, an approved change executes through the connected integration. On Starter, you get a precise playbook to ship it yourself. Either way the agent records a before snapshot so it can measure the lift after the change settles.
If a recommendation looks wrong, dismiss it with a reason. The agent treats that as a signal and won't resurface the same lever for at least 14 days.
